About Us

MASA (Mentorship in Action for Startup Acceleration) Innovation is a program that provides a personalized educational and entrepreneurial experience for student innovators from the University of Botswana (UB) and the Botswana International University of Science & Technology (BIUST). For now, the program is exclusively for UB and BIUST students; however, members of the public interested in participating may partner with a student, who will act as the project lead. Developed in collaboration with the MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund Program and the UM6P Explorer Programme, MASA aims to sow the seeds for creating real, impactful ventures.
