Bridging Campuses: Mafikeng Innovation Hub Joins UniPod in Groundbreaking Augmented Reality Project

From the 18th to the 20th of February 2026, UniPod Botswana had the privilege of hosting a dynamic team of software developers and virtual reality innovators from the Mafikeng Innovation Hub for a landmark collaboration.

Together with the UniPod Botswana Innovators and Media Team, the visiting team comprising animators, graphic designers, and sound engineers brought an extraordinary vision to life: a fully immersive metaverse experience of the UniPod interior. Using the Oculus VR headset, anyone can now take a virtual tour of the UniPod space exploring every corner of our innovation labs from wherever they are in the world.T
